Parents voices are being drowned out in this game of chess that NYSED, Elia and Cuomo have created. Now is the time to speak up for our children. This stacked panel of Common Core cheerleaders is worse than no panel at all.

Read more here, then please help us to help them.

WE PARENTS, grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, community leaders, must speak out now, we cannot accept this unjust for even another moment. Parents need to be allowed to get back to the business of raising kids and teachers need to be allowed to get back to the business of creating wonderfully creative thought provoking lessons for our kids. EVERYTHING else is a distraction from the task at hand.

Some wrongly motivated political leaders and non-educators have bungled any attempt at reform due to their ulterior motives and malicious intent. These disingenuous climbers have overplayed their hand and it is long over due that WE the PARENTS need to take back our public schools !! We need to remind misguided political leaders that they are supposed to represent what WE want for our kids … NOT what THEY want for their political aspirations and pocket. Educational entrepreneurs along with the corporate elite have coerced our elected officials that these latest reforms are the way to go.

The Board of Regents comprises 17 members elected by the State Legislature for 5 year terms,

And since the Board of Regents is elected by our State Legislators, please call, write, email, and meet with you your state legislators and let them all know that you’ve had enough !

Parents know. We are not in need of education as Elia states. We know the harm being inflicted on our children and we are saying “no more.”
